For low down payment Loans:
- Conventional loans – Down payments as low as 3% Reduced mortgage insurance and lower rates for higher credit borrowers.
- Home Ready and Home Possible mortgages which have as low as 3% down.
- FHA loans (Federal Housing Administration)- offers an alternative to conventional loans with shorter waiting periods for significant events and lower credit score options (as low as 580 credit scores)
Buying your second home or just have more money to put down:
- Conventional loans- loan amount under $647,200.00 with 5% to 20% down offer the best rates and terms
- Jumbo loans- loan amounts over $647,200.00 and require a minimum of 10% down
